Voodoo Lady

In Louisiana, lives a Voodoo Lady.
You can ask her for a favor, but it won’t coming easy.
You better start to dance and lose control.
Bondye’s got your soul.
Bring out the holy water, and the crucifixes.
Tear out some nails, no one ever misses.
Strip the tree to its bark
Dr John has left his mark.
Pins in my arms, pins in my chest,
Pins giving me a heart attack.
Five finger grass, dragon blood sticks.
Ouanga juju and gris gris.
I guess you’d say i’m doing fine
while she drinks my blood like wine.
All she ever do is tell you lies…
Voodoo Lady
Staring at the crossroads, sit down with Papa Legba.
Consulting Erzuli Dantor, she’s the Black Madonna.
Kalfu’s domain is where you are at,
There’s no turning back.
Into her possession, she’s become your bokor.
Walking like a zombie, what more could you ask for?
Marie Lavau has told you so,
Baron Samedi will know..

I ain't gonna work on the railroad
I ain't gonna work on the farm
Lay 'round the shack 'til the mail train comes back
And I'll roll in my sweet baby's arms
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Lay 'round the shack 'til the mail train comes back
And I'll roll in my sweet baby's arms
Where were you last Friday night?
While I was locked up in jail
Walking the streets with another man
Wouldn't even post my bail
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Lay 'round the shack 'til the mail train comes back
And I'll roll in my sweet baby's arms
I know your parents don't like me
They turned me away from your door
If i had my life to live over again
I wouldn't go there any more
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Lay around the shack 'til the mail train comes back
And I'll roll in my sweet baby's arms
Where were you last Friday night?
While I was locked up in jail
Walking the streets with another man
Wouldn't even post my bail
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Lay around the shack 'til the mail train comes back
And I'll roll in my sweet baby's arms

Cotton Fields

Working at them cotton fields, givin’ me the blues.
Working at them cotton fields, givin’ me the blues.
I’m thinkin’ of you my darlin’, thinking of you.
Thinking of you my darling, is all I ever do.
Riding down the highway, a thousand miles from home.
Riding down the highway, a thousand miles from home.
Making me feel so lonesome, gotta keep my head up straight.
Have to make this delivery in Ashville, without any delay.
It’s the same ol’ reason, again and again.
Have to make a livin’, pay the rent.
All this working’s keeping me from you.
This has got me singing the working man’s blues.
Part of the construction site, hammer and the nail.
Part of the construction site, hammer and the nail.
Crafting a grand ol’ mansion, building like a piece of art.
From six ‘til eight working my ass off, while we are a part.

Moonshine Brigade 'S Hertogenbosch, Netherlands
It starts like many great ideas: in the pub, a conversation over a nice drink. Late at night we go out; tap a fresh water
source with some pipes that we duct taped together. And then comes the moment; our still ol’ Haggard Badger begins to fill and we ignite the fire underneath
.
The next morning hails us and we set out to another place with our fresh batch of ‘shine; we’re the Moonshine Brigade.
